Functions & Advantages
Standard Waveform Output: In addition to pure sine waves, users can define and output non-standard waveforms including triangle, sawtooth, square, and trapezoidal waves. The instrument also features built-in IEC61000-4-11/4-13/4-14/4-27/4-29 test compliance waveforms, enabling evaluation of device under test (DUT) tolerance to complex grid conditions such as voltage sags/swells,frequency deviations, phase jumps, and voltage flicker.

The N78300 Series employs a high power density design, delivering 25kVA in a compact 19inch/3U chassis with parallel expansion capability for flexible scaling to higher power requirements. With twice the output power of conventional AC power supplies in the same footprint, the N78300 Series significantly saves test space in high-power testing scenarios, eliminating the need for additional racks or laboratory expansion and effectively reducing customer test costs.

The N78300 Series supports independent amplitude and phase settings for each harmonic, enabling simulation of up to the 50th harmonic (at 50Hz/60Hz fundamental frequency) to generate periodic distortion waveforms that meet specific testing requirements. The instrument features 30 preset harmonic distortion waveforms for quick recall and testing. The N78300 Series supports single-phase harmonics, three-phase harmonics, and unbalanced three-phase harmonic output, fully meeting IEC harmonic immunity test requirements and serving as an essential tool for EMC immunity testing.
